FESTUS ADEDEJI ADELOYE – (EXTERNAL INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR)
Mr. Festus Adedeji Adeloye is a highly accomplished financial services executive with over 35 years of distinguished experience spanning banking, mortgage finance, stockbroking, financial consulting, credit risk management, corporate governance, and strategic leadership. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional expertise in driving organizational growth, strengthening financial performance, and implementing sound governance and risk management practices.
As an Independent Director of FIRSTMIDAS Microfinance Bank Limited, Mr. Adeloye brings extensive board-level insight, strategic thinking, and a wealth of practical experience in financial services. His broad industry knowledge and commitment to ethical leadership contribute significantly to the Bank’s corporate governance framework, long-term sustainability, and strategic direction.
Mr. Adeloye currently serves as the Principal Financial Consultant at Festann Consults, where he provides financial advisory, investment guidance, business planning, wealth management, and risk management services to individuals, businesses, and organizations. Through his consultancy, he has successfully helped clients improve profitability, strengthen financial planning, and achieve sustainable business growth.
Prior to establishing his consultancy, he served as Finance Director of Perpetual Global Concept for over fifteen years, where he led financial planning, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and risk management initiatives that significantly enhanced the company’s profitability and operational efficiency.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Adeloye held senior management positions at the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, where he played a key role in mortgage financing, loan portfolio management, and the implementation of the National Housing Fund (NHF) Scheme. He also built an outstanding banking career with the National Bank of Nigeria Limited, where he distinguished himself in commercial lending, relationship management, and customer portfolio development, maintaining an exceptional record of loan performance and customer satisfaction.
Mr. Adeloye holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy and an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Financial Accounting from Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin. He is also a Certified National Accountant (CNA) of the Nigerian College of Accountancy, Jos.
He is a professional member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), reflecting his commitment to continuous professional development and excellence in the financial services industry.
