He had his formal education in Engineering Physics (Nuclear Engineering Science Major) top of his class with a Second-Class Upper-division from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. He also obtained a Master of Science degree in Finance (Investment Banking) from the University of Wales, England. He is a member of the Association of Certified Chattered Account of the UK(ACCA).
He started his banking career with Citibank Nigeria in Operations where he worked for eight years. He was a pioneer member of Guardian Express Bank and the first Staff who served as head of operations in the Northern part of Nigeria precisely Abuja. He also served as a Manager, Head of Operations with National Bank Ltd, Abuja. He was the Regional Service Manager, Northern Region of Unity Bank Plc. He also headed the Central Liability Operations department of Unity Bank Plc as a Senior Manager. He was a member of the Board of Directors (Executive Director) at FinHomes Ltd a subsidiary of Finland Bank Plc (Now MGSL Mortgage Bank), Abuja. He is a professional trainer in accounting and Business studies.
